ABOUT BRIARWOOD

 

 

 

Welcome to Briarwood, one of Inglewood's most desirable, private gated communities. 

 

Built in 1964, the Briarwood Townhomes were constructed in two phases, totaling 477 units.

 

Today, Briarwood is surrounded by a bustling and growing community. Situated one block from the famous FORUM Stadium, the SoFi NFL Stadium and is just minutes away from LAX, local shopping, dining and entertainment.

The Briarwood Community Center (BCC), also known as the Clubhouse boasts a total of 10,345 square feet. 

 

BCC offers a range of amenities, including the community Dining Room for parties (available for rent to Briarwood Residents ONLY), Ping Pong Room, Billiard Room with 4 billiard tables, Living Room featuring a 75-inch flat-screen TV, fireplace and an outdoor patio area with Bar-B-Q Grills. 

BRIARWOOD SECURITY

Briarwood offers 24-hour security services for its homeowners.  

 

Access into the community is administered through a manned Security Guard Gate.

Our Security Guard Service reports to an on site Security Manager.

 

Briarwood Security is Responsible for:

  • Providing Homeowners access

  • Verifying and allowing guest entry

  • Patrolling the community.

  • There are Three Briarwood Associations:

    • Briarwood Community Center - Manages the Community Center Clubhouse  

    • Homeowners Association #1 - Manages Units 2 thru 217

    • Homeowners Association #2 - Manages Units 220 thru 480

   

  • The distance of Briarwood Drive is one-quarter of a mile from the West Gate to the East Gate. Many Residents get their exercise by walking the lanes in Briarwood.

   

  • The round building located near the entrance of the community is the former Sales Office (used when the property was originally built). Is now used as an Entertainment Center - Rentable through HOA 2.

  • The pool that is located at the Clubhouse is heated - the other two pools are not currently heated.

    

  • There are three permanent Dog Poop stations located in the community.

    • One near the entry West Blvd gate,

    • One near the east gate, and

    • One across from the clubhouse.

We all love our pets, but not their poop - Briarwood is committed to Residents picking up after their pets so Dog Poop Stations were put in place. Please be respectful of your neighbors by always picking up after your pet.

  • Playing in the lanes is not permitted (for safety). 

​

  • Bike riding, skateboarding, scooter riding, roller skating, ball playing and drone flying are not allowed in the complex (also for safety).
